Dennis S. Pilon,
LMSW, ACSW, BCD, received his BA in Psychology from Wayne State University
and his Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of Michigan.
Dennis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the director of Anything
But Cigarettes, and co-director of the Trauma Recovery Center in
Royal Oak, Michigan. He has been in practice as a psychotherapist
and clinical hypnotherapist for over 25 years and has specialized
in smoking cessation programs since 1983. He is Certified in Clinical
Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, is past president
of the Michigan Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and is a member of
the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis.
Dennis has presented corporate programs for such
companies as Ford Motor Company, Kelsey Hayes, Blue Cross/Blue Shield
of Michigan, Chrysler Corporation, and the United States Postal
Service. As a trained ex-smoker, Dennis knows what it's like to
stop the smoking habit and has dedicated himself to helping others.
